Unparalleled Loneliness

My loneliness stands unparalleled
Exclusive to your memories
I remember the time,
How it used to be…

All seems lost,
As my tears autumn their way
And slide down my cheek

And Fall upon where
You once used to lie
And sleep for hours

Frightening me;
You would leave

You kept your promise,
It is hard to hold the pledge I made;
It is hard to breathe

You look so peaceful,
Eyes wide shut, still smiling,
…I too wish to fall asleep

My loneliness stands unparalleled,
I live in the company of my own agony

Drenched in loneliness,
My only best friend is your memory

You have traveled so far away from me,
All seems beyond my reach;

I exchange a few words
An audible speech
unheard tears,
Under heavenly siege

Please, TALK TO ME!

My loneliness stands unparalleled
Exclusive to your memories
I remember the time,
How it used to be…

How you would hear me;
How you used to talk to me

I try gathering my left-over;
Somewhere
Between pain and insanity

I know, now,
what God can be

Since you can no longer reply,
And talk to me

I beg you Please,
TALK TO ME!

I try gathering my left-over;

Somewhere between
the bliss of acceptance

And the remorse
of a cruel reality

My loneliness stands unparalleled
Exclusive to your memories
I remember the time,
How it used to be…

  1. Lovely! Reminds me so much of this song by The Cure, "Pictures of you"..
